These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of heiressdesignz.com and your purchases, bookings, and services from Heiress Designz, LLC ("Heiress Designz," "we," "us"). By using our site, placing an order, or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our site or services.
About us
Heiress Designz, LLC is a permanent jewelry business serving Greater Atlanta, Georgia. We offer custom-fitted permanent jewelry, ready-to-wear pieces, private installs, parties and events, and gift cards.
Who can use our services
You must be at least 18 to place an order or book an appointment on your own. Clients under 18 may receive permanent jewelry only with a parent or guardian present, who must give consent at the appointment.
Products and pricing
Handmade pieces: each piece is fitted and finished by hand, so small variations in color, size, and finish are normal and are not defects.
Photos and colors: we do our best to show our jewelry accurately, but colors may look different on your screen.
Prices: prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
Errors: if a product or price is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it has been placed.
Availability: we may limit quantities, discontinue products, or decline any order at our discretion.
Orders and payment
Payment is due in full when you place an order online, unless we tell you otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. Your order is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. Sales tax is added where required by law.
Permanent jewelry appointments
Booking and deposits: A deposit of $50 (groups), $25 (individuals) is required to reserve an appointment and is applied to your total.
Cancellations and rescheduling: please give at least [24/48] hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Deposits for cancellations made with less notice, and for no-shows, are non-refundable.
Late arrivals: if you arrive more than [15] minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment.
Your health and safety: before your weld, please tell us about any metal allergies or sensitivities, and any implanted medical device such as a pacemaker. We may decline a service if we believe it isn't safe for you.
How the weld works: the welder uses a quick, low-energy spark and is designed to be safe on skin. You may feel slight warmth. We use a protective barrier between the spark and your skin.
Removal: permanent jewelry can be removed at any time by cutting the chain near the weld, for example, before an MRI, surgery, or medical procedure. Removal is your responsibility, and we are not responsible for pieces cut off or lost.
Re-welds: If your chain breaks at the weld within 72 hours of your appointment, we'll re-weld it free. After that, re-welds are charged at the original price. Bring your chain with you.
Parties and events
Booking: parties require a non-refundable deposit of $50 and a minimum of 3 guests.
Travel: events outside of our service area may include a travel fee, which we'll confirm before booking.
Host responsibilities: the host provides a table, seating, good lighting, and access to an electrical outlet.
Changes: changes to the date, time, or guest count must be made at least 3 days before the event.
Gift cards
Gift cards can be used for products and services from Heiress Designz. They have no cash value, cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, and do not expire. Please treat gift cards like cash: we are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or codes.
Shipping
We ship to the addresses you provide at checkout. Delivery times are estimates. Once a package is handed to the carrier, we are not responsible for carrier delays. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days, and we'll work with you and the carrier to make it right.
Returns and exchanges
Because permanent jewelry is custom-fitted and welded on, it cannot be returned once installed. Returns and exchanges for ready-to-wear and boutique items are covered by our Return Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Care and warranty
Our pieces are made to be worn every day. To keep them looking their best, follow the care guidance we provide. Our [re-weld policy] covers breaks at the weld. It does not cover damage from snagging, pulling, accidents, harsh chemicals, or normal wear. Other than what's stated in these Terms, our products and services are provided without any other warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Photos
With your permission, we may photograph your finished piece and share it on our website or social media. We won't share photos of you without your consent. You can ask us to remove a photo at any time.
Your account
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Please let us know right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Using our site
Please don't misuse our site. That includes attempting to disrupt it, accessing it without permission, copying its content for commercial use, or using it for anything unlawful.
Our content
All content on this site, including our name, logo, photos, designs, and text, belongs to Heiress Designz, LLC or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, such as the jBloom collection. We aren't responsible for their content, products, or policies. Purchases made on those sites are governed by their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Heiress Designz, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site, products, or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service involved.
Indemnification
You agree to hold Heiress Designz, LLC harmless from claims arising from your misuse of our site or services or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Dekalb County, Georgia.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. Continuing to use our site or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
